INFORMATION

This two-bedroom home sits in peaceful old Clyde town overlooking the Clyde River. It takes into consideration the surrounding landscape which is reflected through its materials of schist rock and timber cladding.  

This house was designed and built as a modern replica of the previous house positioned on site. The clients requested an almost identical dwelling however, the new house to be constructed of structurally insulated panels (SIPS) and a thermally insulated slab. These features give the overall building a high energy efficiency with minimal heating cost.
